Reflections on Blogging

How I like blogging is I personal don't love it and it's not something I love to do. But I only blog when I'm told to. I'm not creative enough to come up with my own topics. I personal know I wouldn't be able to keep up on my own personal blog. I really don't know any people that blog and get paid for it, but I  know people that get paid for making vlogs, which I do like those. I don't really enjoy reading enough to read other blogs, but I watch vlogs quite a bit. My experiences with this class blog is that this is one of the longest things that I was able to stick with and actually do it. My likes of doing the blogs is that they only take about five minutes to complete and they are easy to do. Dislikes of doing the blog are the blogs that we have look up information for. Memorial Day

Memorial Day is the day of remembering the people that have fallen for this country. The way I celebrated this day was having a cookout with my family. Just spending valuable time with my family. It was a really crappy day outside cause it rained all day, so we couldn't have a fire which was disappointing.

National Month for???

There are a ton of unusual things that are celebrated every month. An example is May is the month of smiles the reason that somebody has created this to celebrate everything.  Maybe the unusual people celebrate them. Three other things that people should celebrate in the month of may is flower day, Matt Thomas birthday day, and taco day. Reasons to celebrate these are that flowers are really pretty in the month of may, my birthday is in the month of may, and lastly tacos are just amazing and should be celebrated. We could celebrate my idea by taking school off and enjoy the three things that are listed and just have a fun day!

A Day In the Life

A day in the life is a cool movie, it opened my eyes up to see really how good of life I really have. The makers of the movie wanted to show other people  daily life and they did a great job of it. I cant wait to be able to make my own day in the life. I wanna be able to go watch my day in the life in ten years from now.

Cinco de Mayo

Cinco de Mayo is the commemorate of the Mexican victory over the French in the Battle of Puebla in 1862.  This day is celebrated because the Mexican army was able to defeat the French army. Anyone with a Spanish background or just anyone that wants to should be able to celebrate this day. It shouldn't become a national holiday just because it doesn't related to everyone in the world.

National No Homework Day was creator of the day is unknown but its created most likely cause it is to give teachers a day off from grading during National Teacher Appreciation Week. It sounds like a awesome idea because kids and teachers both really work hard everyday and night doing things so having a day of no homework would be awesome. But overall I'm planning on having a nice evening maybe go outside and watch the birds fly and watch the sunset or just sit inside and do nothing. The last one is probably the thing I'm going to do.

Prom!

Prom seems pretty cool besides the cost seems a bit out there for me want to go every year. But everyone that goes says they had a good time. Yes I think everyone should go to prom their senior year. Thats the same with after prom, that's where the fun is at! There is no point of having a after prom without a prom, because then it would be just a school partly which would kinda dumb.

Earth Day!

Today is the day we celebrate Earth Day! This means to be that we should go plant trees and treat mother nature better. I haven't participated in any Earth Day actives. Three interesting things about Earth Day I learned is that 84% of all household waste can be recycled, 5 billion aluminum cans are used each year, and every ton of paper that is recycled saves 17 trees. Things that we should do to celebrate this day is start recycling and find ways to be more green.

Violence on TV!

The violence on TV now just makes me sick to my stomach. I do think there is too much violence now a days. I think violence shows should be on later during the day. I do watch violence shows sometimes, just because its intense and thrilling. Shows now days have so much violence in them because that's what people enjoy now a days. The most violence on TV is "Breaking Bad' it is a very well written show and the actors are excited but I don't think anyone under 17 should watch the show. The show is pretty much about selling drugs (crystal meth) and becoming the best because one of the main character's has cancer and wants to raise money for his family before he dies, but no one knows what he is doing.

Spring Break!

Saturday- 7:25 A.M got up, looked around my room and looked at the time and was nope going back to bed! Got back up around 9:30 ish and ate a ton of cereal ( rice crispy) and the popping cracking sound in every bite just makes me eat it faster. The sun was shinning through our windows casting a shadow onto our small table. Just the weather app on my phone and seen it was going to be a warm day. So Leah and I decide to have a nice bike ride. We rode from her house all the way to Island Park and had lunch. Ate McDonald's  the warm fresh deep fried french fries with a cold Coke along with it. The bike ride was windy but nice and the sound of birds singing in the trees. One of the best breaks I could of had.

Whats Gonna Happen Over Spring Break

My plans for spring break is forget about school and not return to it for that week. It is truly the last place I wanna come back to. But I plan on staying up late and not waking up intill atleast 8 or hopefully 9 in the morning. I wanna hang with some of my old friends and longboard at Hidden Lake Gardens a few times. I just wanna make my break fun and not really sit in my room for a week. But if do sit in my room for a week its a lot better then being at school.

Cheaters Never Win

Do cheaters ever win? It matters what you consider cheater is, personally for me some cheating is just playing the game but playing in the loop holes. If I saw a friend cheat I would most likely tell that person that they're dumb for cheating at school. But if a person is working on homework and they "share" answers for that homework and talk about it, I don't think believe that's cheating, I think its working together.

Harlem Shake!

The Harlem Shake is the newest fad thing for 2013. The shake started early this year and it entails to be dumb and something crazy for 30 seconds. Some of them are really funny but too many of them are too much alike so they arent really funny. I dont really know if I would participate in one, unless if it is pretty cool. But my true feelings on the whole thing is that it is getting pretty old and just the same.

Testing! Testing! Testing!

Being tested for my first 13 years of education I feel like that's all it really comes down too is the test and everything. Education now a day really does rely too much on testing. If we didn't have test I don't think students will really care to much about anything.  Teachers would be able to ask questions to see how much you understand. Formal testing are the worst. These standardized test are worst because most of the stuff on the test, is stuff we haven't even learned yet. There should be a fair test for everyone.  I done pretty well with most of my testing this year. I'm that person that always claims I do just bad on test, but this year I been doing just fine.

Top Four

Four things that are important to me are school, food, water and my house. The reason for school as much I hate going and everything, but with school it makes you a smarter person. Then food is imporant to me because everyone needs food, and no one likes not going hungary. Water is just like food you need it to live, but then going swimming is alot of fun also. Lastly my house is important in my life because without it I would be living on the streets, cold and wet which isnt nice.

Popular President

 

My favorite President of all time is Bill Clinton he had the greatest impact. He did so much for this country, he created one of the most surplus economy during his time. The hardest thing about being president is making the American people happy. I would want to be president one day, I would be a part of the 3rd partly and I would make this country on the right road. My campaign pitch would be the new road or something different.

Charity Event!!

If I had $100,000 to give away and can't spend any of it on myself the things I would do with that money is to benefit as many people as possible. I would help some of the people that were affected in the storm Sandy. Then I would create as many care packages for the men and women overseas and their families  Because without them, I wouldn't have the freedom I do. So I think they should be able to see and know people care for them.

I want to be

I would prefer to be some where warm on a beach like Califnia right now. I would just float in the water and enjoy life. Inside of being here in Michigan freezing cold with inches of snow. I love snow and everything but I don't like cold weather. I love when its about 75 degrees out side with a small gust of wind, thats the perfect weather.

Bug Life

If I could be any bug, out of all the bugs in the world it would be a ant. The reason I wanted to be a ant, is because of the movie "Bugs Life" made ants seem really cool. Ants create very cool tunnels underground and  how strong they are too is very impressive. But honestly every other bug out there is gross, like spiders. But being a ant would be really cool!

Travel away

If I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to New York City. There is so much to do in the city. Places to vist and places to eat you couldnt really ever get bored. Plus there is a ton of people. Also seeing Time Square would be sweet. Then longboarding down Broadway Street is also one of my dreams.

Vacation Time

My time off of school was AWESOME! I didn't really do anything related school work. The closest thing I did that was related to school was read my book. The cool thing I got for Christmas is a Kindle e-reader. Then heck ya! I went sledding twice once by Holland and then at Heritege Park. No I didnt make resolutions for the new year. Reason is because I know I wouldnt keep them.
